Nestled in an alleyway in Taipei’s Xinyi District, a small building emits a savory aroma that wafts through the air.

“The 雞 Spot” is Taiwan’s first chicken and biscuit joint. I produced a multimedia story on this hip new restaurant after being selected for Berkeley Journalism’s 2024 foreign correspondent program.
